KONG Company UK supports National Responsible Owners Campaign

Manufacturer of “the world’s best dog toy”, The KONG Company UK, have today officially endorsed the National Responsible Dog Owners Campaign.

In 1976 KONG established “the standard” for dog toy performance and durability. Today, KONG toys are enthusiastically used and recommended by trainers, veterinarians, dog professionals and satisfied customers worldwide. Millions and millions of dogs have confirmed that KONG is the “world’s best dog toy”.

Canine and wolf behaviour specialist Jez Rose is heading up the national campaign to make owning and living with dogs safer and more enjoyable - for dog owners and the general public alike.
Jez has embarked on making a difference to the relationship we share with our canine friends on a national scale and needs your support.

Disheartened by the increase in media coverage of dog attacks on children, adults and assistance dogs and dismayed by the amount of dog faeces left in public places, Jez drew inspiration from how Jamie Oliver changed perception with his School Dinners campaign.

With the help and endorsement of celebrities, veterinary surgeons, the general public and organisations across the UK, Jez is lobbying local and national Government to act to prevent future dog attacks, rather than destroying the dog after the incident, and promote responsible dog ownership to reduce the amount of dog fouling.
